Born and raised in Havana, I am a true son of the Pearl of the Antilles, a wonderful island which have given me a home and a reason to be.

Walking in the footsteps of my father, I have acquired a long and rich experience in the cuban hospitality and tourism industry, working for a decade for Cubanacán, a major travel agency in Cuba, before joining IVIDMC² Cuba as Regional Managing Director.

I love to travel, and I love to share my best tips about Cuba which I explore up and down either solo, with friends or family - but never without my tireless dog! - to find the best destinations and fun things to do.

I have a passion for Cuba’s culture and people, and you can count on me to guide you through colonial sites, historical monuments, water activities, great nightclubs, and of course our legendary bars.

Graduate in philology - don’t ask! - here in Cuba, I live in Havana where I currently work as as a journalist and director of the digital newspaper 14ymedio.com since 2014, trying to help build a plural Cuba, and promote the culture and freedom many Cubans crave for.

Late blooming geek, I’ve been webmastering the cuban portal of the magazine Consensus which I founded in 2004 with a group of Cubans before creating a blog called Generación Y, an adventurous project that was selected among the top 25 blogs in the world by CNN.

This blog also landed me the prize of Journalism Ortega y Gasset in the category of digital work, and had me picked by the magazine Time among the 100 most influential "Heroes and Pioneers" in the world in 2009.

I make it my lifetime mission to keep a finger on Cuba’s pulse, so you can be sure that I will always shine a truthful light on Cuba’s news here on Miami Consultants, as well as let you in on all my best experiences which I pledge to share with you.

I’m a Cuban-born travel guide with a knack for hispanic culture and cuban architecture, which has lead me to study more closely the history of the world famous cuban industry, which has become both a personal passion and a daily work.

I believe that Havana cigars are a perfect parable for this country, an astonishing cocktail of the joy of life, kindness and sweet intoxicating aromas offered to you with an open heart.

Loving to share my passion to travel and find hidden gems off the beaten path, I will help you discover the true magic of an unsuspected Cuba, the magnificent architecture and the vibrant life of Havana, and the breathtaking landscapes of the Vinales region.

Together we will embark on an initiatory journey and a quest to perfect your education of the Havana cigar puro habano, and I hope to communicate my enthusiasm for this unique cuban craft whether you are a novice or an aficionado.

I’m a Cuban-born professional travel agent with over a decade of experience touring the country, accompanying foreign visitors, small groups and independent travelers to discover Cuba, its rich history and unique culture.

Fluent in spanish, french, english, and italian, I have a special relationship with France which is why I was picked by national french TV channel France 2 to cover the 2008 Cuban Elections. I’m also Cuban representative for French Association Cuba chez l’Habitant (Cuba private homestays), and I enjoy a friendly and professional relationship with the Alliance Française (french representation in foreign countries) in Havana.

I really enjoy sharing my knowledge of the ins and outs of the Cuban history, culture, economy and society with my customers and fellow travelers to offer them a real and authentic trip with the agency CubaInMost which I founded.

If, like me, you’re just sick and tired of the same old classic tourist trips, then I will be your guy to show you this marvelous island differently, especially all the the secret casas particulares, and I definitely look forward to show you all little corners of the historic neighborhoods of Havana.
