Miami Street Photography Festival at Art Basel Miami Beach 2016
Art Basel, the world's premier modern and contemporary art fairs, is returning to Miami Beach to showcase the latest and wildest in arts and performances of all kinds.
Very popular with art lovers, collectors and resellers, Art Basel Miami Beach has confirmed year after year its status of not-to-miss art event in the Magic City.
For its 5th year of existence, the Miami Street Photography Festival (MSPF) will feature world-class photographers Richard Kalvar, Alex Webb, Rebecca Norris-Webb, Maggie Steber, Jill Freedman, and Matt Stuart.
Within the HistoryMiami Museum, photographers from more than 50 countries will expose some of their best work through exhibitions, lectures, workshops, photo walks, and portfolio reviews.
Those guest photographers will be starring in dedicated exhibits: Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris-Webb are presenting their illustrated voyage in Cuba, an interesting prospective in the light of the recent loss of the late legendary leader Fidel Castro.
Photojournalist Carl Juste curates the monumental exhibit The Big Picture, a display of 16 colossal images from around the world, by sixteen renowned fellow photojournalists that has been regularly presented at in Miami's Little Haiti Cultural Center for the past few years.

The Miami Street Photography Festival's galleries will remain open until January 15, but there are many special events, exhibits, guided tours, lectures, and workshops scheduled during Art Basel Miami Beach Thursday through Sunday.
