The Locust Projects presents The Comet and the Glacier, a multimedia opera performance by Pittsburgh-based artist Alexis Gideon, mixing music, videos, animations, and live performances to provide an immersive experience.

Miami Street Photography Festival
Within the HistoryMiami Museum, the 2016 Miami Street Photography Festival (MSPF) features world-class photographers and photojournalists such as Carl Juste Richard Kalvar, Alex Webb, Rebecca Norris-Webb, Maggie Steber, Jill Freedman, and Matt Stuart, who show some of their best work through exhibitions, lectures, workshops, photo walks, and portfolio reviews.

A favorite amongst Art Basel Miami Beach's artists to chill out after a long harassing day, Basel House mixes art and music of all styles at The Bitter Truth bar in Midtown, and will feature live music and cocktails, with unannouced guests, impromptu music and art sessions, and a 3D art installation by a collective of Miami’s finest artists.

This Saturday Steve Parker, trombonist, composer, and community arts organizer based in Austin, is putting together Traffic Jam, a 2-hour "transit-considering, community-engaging, audience-participating musical performance piece", automotive flash mob where you are encouraged to make all kind of noises with your four- or two-wheel vehicle.
