Art, music and fun await all those who will attend the 6th Annual Overtown Music and Arts Festival in downtown Miami on Saturday July 23, 2016 (11am - 7pm) where numerous nationally known Latin and R&B live performers will rythm a night of celebration of multicultural diversity through music and art.

Promoting community enrichment and economic development in one of Miami’s most culturally vibrant neighborhood, the free-admission Overtown Music and Arts Festival will showcase forefront snigers such as Tito Puente Jr., Estelle, Ameriie, Kelly Price, Carl Thomas, Jeremih, Jon B, Eric Benet, and many more.

Grammy nominees & South Florida Artists in the Spotlight at Overtown

True to its mission, this year's festival will also put the spotlight on promising South Florida and Miami resident artists among which stand-up comedian Larry Dog, neo-soul/gospel band Sensere, R&B singer-songwriter Ronnie Vop, as well as Jody Hill and his Deep-Fried funk band.

Over 75 vendors will be on hand while music goes on, from artists to ethnic cuisine cooks, showcasing and selling unique crafts, handmade jewelry and more.

Special concerts and activities in new Youth Zone

This year, kids and teens will enjoy their very own live music stage at the Youth Zone, a festival within the festival with artists addressing the younger crowds. The Youth Zone will also feature plenty of interactive and educational activities, and find out more about Miami Dade County's programs for kids.

On schedule for the Youth Zone concerts will be Young Lyric from The Rap Game TV show, as well as DJ Chipman, The Tainerz and The Miami Girls Choir, among others. Activities include arts and crats, fitness, games, face painting, cooking demonstrations, and karaoke contests.
