Miami Salsa Congress 2016 announces 500 world-class salsa performers
Latin music lovers and dance enthusiasts should mark their calendar for the upcoming 2016' Miami Salsa Congress. Tthe 5-day latin music and dance festival taking place at Deauville Beach Resort in Miami Beach from July 27-31, has announced no less than 500 performers among the world's top salsa artists.
Award-winning singers, DJs, and musical ensembles will set the tone for world-class salsa performers, instructors and dancers that will succeed to one another on the MSC stage to honour latin music and dance.
Now in its 15th year of existence, the Miami Salsa Congress - one of the largest latin festivals on the U.S. East Coast - will include 5 days of dance workshops, world championship dance showcases, and live concerts, as well as numerous events such as fun-filled pool-parties and exclusive evening galas.
Not-to-miss concerts: El Canario, El Gran Combo, Timbalive...
This year's Miami Salsa Congress concert series will feature latin music legends such as Jose Alberto “El Canario”, Ismael Miranda and Miami favorites Marlow Rosado, Edwin Bonilla, as well as Timbalive.
Also in the spotlight, two-time world salsa champion El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico will perform their lively latin tunes on Friday Night, July 29, while the upbeat Venezuelan band Los Adolescentes will take on the Deauville Beach Resort's stage on Saturday Night, July 30.

Presented as "a unique compilation of some of the world’s top salsa dancers", the Miami Salsa Congress is a unique occasion for all attendees to discover a variety of dance styles and techniques through 30+ hours of workshops by world-famous dance instructors.
Free salsa classes will also be dispensed by one of Miami’s legendary instructor Rene Gueits and Salsa Lovers who revolutionized the teaching of Rueda de Casino, a particular type of Salsa round dance.
SALSA Galas, Evening & Pool-Parties
The famed MSC parties will take no break this year with many events on schedule, starting with pre-parties : a Wednesday Night Opening Party at American Social Lounge in Brickell, followed by the Thursday Night Kick-Off Party at Club E11EVEN Rooftop, featuring live performance by Miami On Beat.
The South Beach After Party will rejoice night owls and party animals twice on Friday and Saturday night over 4,000 sq.ft of dance floor at the Le Jardin Ballroom aka Bachata Room, starting at 3am until sunrise.
No less than three pool parties - "Sun", "Salsa" and "MSC DJs" - are planned from Friday (12pm - 5pm) through Saturday (11am - 5pm)for this edition of MSC, by the beautiful beach-front pool of Deauville Beach Resort.
Finally, a Club Mystique Reunion Party featuring La Charanga Tipica Tropical original resident DJ's will let all salsa lovers experience the Mystique era with participation of "most prominent influencers and most celebrated social dancers."
