Usher, Kool & The Gang headline Miami Jazz in the Gardens 2016
The 11th Annual Jazz in the Gardens (JITG) Music Festival is returning to the City of Miami Gardens at Miami's Sun Life Stadium on March 18-20, featuring world-famous artists such as Usher, Kool & the Gang, and R&B legend Charlie Wilson.
One of the most respected music festival events in the U.S., the Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival is a three-day live music extravaganza mixing well-known top performers and local artists.
One the most awaited shows for this 11th Annual Jazz in the Gardens is that of Usher, who will blast a mix of older hits ("Yeah!", "Burn") and newest work, after recently touring with P. Diddy's and Mary J. Blige. Usher's 8th album is expected in April.
Another not-to-miss concert will see the legendary funky vibes of Kool & The Gang take on the stage to revive tthe 70s' vibe with crowd favorites (Celebration, Jungle Boogie, Cherish, Summer Madness...) that will demonstrate why it remains the most sampled band of all times.
Replacing Aretha Franklin on last notice, Charlie Wilson aka Uncle Charlie, former leader of The Gap Band, will set the gardens on fire with its devilish R&B that got him named Billboard magazine's No. 1 Adult R&B Artist in 2009.

Janelle Monae and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds are also scheduled for concerts, as well as local Miami artists CriStyle Renae, Kouture Funk Band, April Raquel, and Lavie.
The annual Women's Impact Luncheon will kickoff the festival on Friday March 18th, followed by the Opening Night Party. The organizers expect to beat last year's record attendance of 78,000 guests.
