Every Friday during this month of August (5pm - 8pm), resident and vacationing families can take kids out to a free daytime party of their own at Funtastic Fridays at Young Circle in Hollywood’s ArtsPark.
A Weelky Rendez-vous for Kids and Families
Rated as one of top 10 summer activities in South Florida by TV Channels Local10 and WPLG, Funtastic Fridays feature face painting for both kids and adults, inflatable and colorful bounce houses, as well as many other games and live music animation by a local DJ.
Organized by the city of Hollywood, FL, Funtastic Fridays has become a staple rendez-vous for Miami and Fort Lauderdale kids, and a great place to chill out and cool off for visitors unaccustomed to Florida's summer heat.
Conveniently located between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Arts Park feartures many interesting attractions, from playgrounds and water features to sculptures by environmental artist Ritsuko Taho from Japan.
Free movies at ArtsPark Outdoor Movie night
This summer, activities in Arts Park do not stop at 8pm though, since the seasonal ArtsPark Outdoor Movie night is starting right after Funtastic Fridays, showing family-oriented movies, included very recent ones such as The Peanuts Movie (2015), and Woodlawn (2015).
