Explore New Sound Dimensions at Miami Music Club
Miami is not all about latin and cuban music, and ICA's guest Miami Music Club proves it once again with a series of 3 shows over the summer which culminates at with a collective performance by famed ambient master Drew McDowall and other electronic music artists at the Moore Building this Saturday, July 23, 2016 (8pm).
Located on the rooftop of the Moore Building where ICA Miami has elected to reside, the events will draw major out-of-state artists and less-known local, yet like-minded, experimental music performers to share their art with curious crowds craving for new sounds.
ICA Residents is an initiative from ICA Museum to strenghten the museum's mission to present artists-driven, innovative projects, and diversify the museum’s public programs as well as local arts.
Miami Music Club is an ongoing, collaborative, and itinerant project focused on creating music and art-based alternative social atmospheres outside of Miami's more traditional venues.
This Saturday, Miami Music Club is presenting Drew McDowall, a Scottish-born NYC music and multimedia artist, and fomer member of well-known experimental projects such as Psychic TV and Coil.
Drew McDowall will share the stage with Florida-based artists Ortotasce (Sarasota), Möthersky (Croissant Park) and Miami's own DJ Ramiro.
The Saturday, July 23, event is free for all ICA members ($10 general admission) and will begin at 8pm at the Moore Building located at 4040 Northeast 2nd Avenue, Miami. For more event and ticket information, visit the official event page.
