Experience Cuba's best with Miami's Havana Nights
This Saturday, July 16, from 6pm to 10pm will be an excellent opportunity to discover a fun and eco-friendly project in Miami as the Ludlam Trail invites everyone to enjoy an evening of Cuban-inspired fun, at the Havana Nights in A.D. Barnes Park.
The Ludlam Trail's mission is to convert an abandoned, 6.2 mile-long Florida East Coast Railway corridor - from Dadeland Station North to the Miami International Airport - into ecological and natural spaces, community gardens, bike and running path/trails, and playgrounds for kids.
On Saturday, The Ludlam Trail is organizing a mouthwatering Caja China Pig Roast along with a cuban Mojito Bar. A domino tournament will aslo be taking place in the purest cuban tradition.
Cigar rollers will show off their skills while a salsa band will be playing classic latin tunes to help attendees learn the basics of salsa with dance instructors.
Children are welcome to the kid-friendly event where bounce houses and face painting activities will also be offered. In the spirit of this eco-friendly event, Ludlam Trail encourages everyone to ditch their SUVs and come on bike to the park where a bike valet should be availalble onsite.
