The Coral Gables Food Wine & Spirits Festival is Back This Week-End (Nov 11-12)
The annual Coral Gables Food, Wine & Spirits Festival is back this year with a 7th edition featurung more activities than ever, as hundreds of brands will be represented during the two-day food fest that will run at the Alhambra Circle in downtown Coral Gables from Friday, Nov 11 through Saturday, Nov 12.
Miami's biggest food event after the South Beach Food & Wine Festival, the Coral Gables Food, Wine & Spirits Festival is geared towards the 21+ crowd given its kean inclination for alcohol-based treats, but all families are welcome as well to try out the local culinary inventivity (IDs will be checked at the door, minors must be accompanied).
No less than one hundred different restaurants and food providers will be on hand, as well as over 300 brands of wine, beer and spirits.
The high-end festival will be spread over seven featured pavilions: Culinary Pavilion, Whiskey Obsession, Wines of the World, The Rum Room, General Spirits Pavilion, The Beer Garden, and a Food for Sale Area.
Live culinary demos will give attendees a great opportunity to sample the best of Coral Gables from local restaurants and bars.
A 4.000 sq² pavilion will be entirely dedicated to wine, featuring over one hundred vintages from the best wine-producing countries (France, Italy, Spain, Chile...) and of course California.
The festival will kick off on Friday at 4pm with two events, "Wine of the Worlds" and "Rum Room" which will be both limited to 250 attendees and require special tickets to participate.
Food is not included in the general admission ticket, but you can purchase "food tickets" which are sold in blocks of four, eight, or 12 plates.
